At Gotham Writers you matter. It’s not an internship where you thoughtlessly move coffee and papers around the office. You get to work with professionals, who are absolutely in love with writing. On a daily basis, you do something that has significance to it.

The more I reflect on my internship at Gotham, the more I encounter memories that I didn’t even realize I had tucked away. Meeting all those people who shared an interest in writing was comforting, even for an introvert like me. I enjoyed being among like-minded people.

As a student interested in publishing, Gotham’s intern program allowed me to explore the industry by assisting at the Gotham Writers Conference. As a result, I made some really amazing connections with people in the industry and made some even greater friends and connections with the people at Gotham.
